What Is This Game?

Venturetale is a lightweight TTRPG system that is built around a unique system of dice resolution: colors indicate mastery, with each color of die having lesser or greater "Yes" or "No" faces.

Venturetale excels in prompting improv, where the system gives you the tools to create a character on the fly, and randomly determine how you respond to the GM's prompts.

How to Play

Grab some multicolored d6s from a shop: Red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and orange.

Then make some small stickers and write "Yes" and "No" on them.

After that, grab the orange d6 and make some small stickers "And" and "But" on them. The orange die gets 2 "And" faces, 2 "But" faces, and 2 blank faces.
